Biography:

Adopted when she was a baby, Jacqueline Luray Taylor, or Jacq, knows nothing about her real parents. Captain Daniel Taylor, her adoptive father, brought home a blue and gold macaw for her fifth birthday who she calls Bill, for short. Heavily exposed to life aboard ship at a young age, Jacq has a deep seated love for the ocean and being on ship.

Left at an inn temporarily in exchange for gold at the age of 10, she meets a girl of identical looks, size, and birth date. The two girls deduce after a short while they must be twins. A few days turned into eight years and Jacq now finds herself on a quest that is sure to change her life forever.
