Biography:

Adopted when she was a baby, Alexandria Luray Thorpe, or Alex – as Jacq started calling her straight away after they first met, knows nothing about her real parents. Raised in an upper class household, she is proper in manner and very aware of fashion and ladylike behavior. She is very practical and does not believe in buried treasure or that anyone who steals anything can be a good person.

Due to unfortunate health circumstances befalling her adoptive mother, Madam Thorpe, Alex agrees to stay at an inn to pay the bill for her care at just 10 years old. There, however, she meets a girl of identical looks, size, and birth date. The two girls deduce after a short while they must be twins. Days turn to weeks and eight years pass with no word from Madam Thorpe or her husband. Now Alex finds herself on a quest that is sure to change her life forever.
